The Banyumas Regency Government encourages the production of organic crystal coconut sugar. The advantage is that the price is higher, which is Rp. 3000-5000/kg compared to ordinary sugar, and the export market share is also very open. Currently there are 21 companies in Banyumas that manage organic coconut sugar.

Coconut raw material for this sugar must come from a garden that has been certified organic. Currently, the area of ​​organic certified coconut land in Banyumas is 1,136.65 ha, while the number of organic farmers/penderes is 6,986 people or 25% of the total farmers/penderes in Banyumas.

Naloanro Simanjuntak, President Director of PT MIO, said that his party fosters farmers to produce organic products. For coconut sugar in Kebumen 113 people, Purbalingga 103 people, Purworejo, Kulonprogo and Magelang. Organic coconut sugar in the export market costs Rp. 50,000-70,000/500 gr, while non-organic is Rp. 25,000-50,000/500 gr.
