In the future, to support this industry, the Banyumas Regency Government is rejuvenating old coconuts with mature coconuts with short trunks and not getting tall quickly to reduce the risk of accidents falling from trees; quickly tapped/dideres (3-4 years can be extracted); the leaf midrib is not easily broken and the production of sap and high sugar content (minimum 3-4 liters/tree/day).

The Banyumas Regency Government encourages the production of organic crystal coconut sugar. The advantage is that the price is higher, which is Rp. 3000-5000/kg compared to ordinary sugar, and the export market share is also very open. Currently there are 21 companies in Banyumas that manage organic coconut sugar.

Coconut raw material for this sugar must come from a garden that has been certified organic. Currently, the area of organic certified coconut land in Banyumas is 1,136.65 ha, while the number of organic farmers/penderes is 6,986 people or 25% of the total farmers/penderes in Banyumas.

PT MIO's export destinations are China, Japan, Australia, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States, Brazil and Chile.
